It's the Wall Street Journal. On this day in 1889, the first Wall Street Journal was published. Its name comes from New York City's financial center, Wall Street. Today, the Journal is owned by News Corp., Rupert Murdoch's controversial news empire, after it was bought from the Bancroft family in 2007.
